Hi there, I am Alex. This is my first post on my new blog.
2020 has been a crazy year, and thankfully we are now in 2021 where we can set up some new goals and targets for ourselves. In 2021, I am committed to start writing posts.
What will I write about?
I started my career in programming in 2003. Starting with c++, then Java, Objective C and now Swift. I learned a lot of things over all these years. I have tried a lot of concepts, ideas, and I have also failed like all of us in several areas. There are a lot of things I would like to learn or improve when it comes to computer programming. During this journey, I will read, try, commit on a special project on Github, and document my learning and findings here on this blog.
Here are the topics I’m planning to touch:
- iOS / tvOS
- Automated Testing
- Modular design
- Design pattern
The most important I believe is to write regularly. I picked up Fridays. So from now on, until … I am going to publish something every Friday, no matter if I’m sick or on vacation, or busy with a deadline at work, I will really try to stick to the plan. So by the end of the year I wish to have publish 52 posts (I’ll try to catch back the missed January)
What is Fluent Coding?
I wanted to pick a name that sounded good to me. Fluent refers to the design pattern “Builder” and its “Fluent” implementation. I’m sure I’m going to write about it later on. Coding, is yeahhh simply about Coding.
I hope you will enjoy!
Thank you for reading until here… 👊 Have a good week end… 🍺
